Mitsuka refractors???

I’ve just bought a Mitsuka refractor, 60mm x 700mm, it’s in very good condition, but I’m trying to find out more information without any luck. 
Anyone know who they are? I know they’re from Japan but that’s all.

I believe it is a rebranded scope made by Dai-ichi Kogaku Co in Japan. They provided scopes to lots of different brands around the world (often shops and department stores) especially after Towa went bankrupt. So likely late 70s to mid 80s.

Does the plate look like this? There may be a manufacturer stamp on the underside of the focuser.

Yes that’s the one, all basically plastic, but I thinking of replacing with carbon tube and a metal focuser. I want to blacken the objective edges too! Lots to play with.
