Lovely image. Very nice detail along the left edge and in the dark feature.

Sorry for  my ignorance, but I’m only just starting to get into dual band AP.  Is that an HOO image with Ha red and OIII green and blue?

Thanks!. It's HOO in the sense that my filter only allows Ha and Oiii through so there is no Sii. But I use a script in Pixinsight which lets me play with the colour palette in real time and tweak till I'm happy. I'm not really happy with the background on this and am re-doing it, it's almost clipped, i.e pure black.

Thanks for the explanation.I need to get into all this.

As for background I see what you’re saying, but I’m not sure it matters. If anything because the nebula is so much the majority of the image the dark background makes a useful contrast.  But it might be interesting to see what the image looks like with a less ‘clipped’ background.

Well I've just reprocessed, different palette but I quite it, this is more HOO and the background is better (IMHO).

Ah, yes. Doesn’t it look different? You’ve pulled up sone faint nebulosity around the edge. Nice.  Is the background sky just a little green?  Might be worth masking the nebula and applying SCNR to the background?
