Stacking problem in Registax6

Hi everyone. I am new to planetary photography. Lately I have successfully imaged some planets using SHARPCAP. Then imported the file in PIPP for processing. Thereafter, used REGISTAX6 for aligning, stacking and final processing.
Always got good results until recently. Everything seems to go fine in Registax6 until I hit stacking. The stacked result showed white blank screen. I tried again using a different file and this time the stacked image gave me half white and half black screen. I tried several times but the problem persists.
can someone help and guide me on this please.

Why not use as!3? I have never used Registax for stacking. If you must, then uninstall and reinstall? I am a Mac user so that's as far my pc advice will go.

I used to use Registax for both stacking and processing, but when I tried AutoStakkert I found that it gave better results, and also much shorter stacking time (about 3 minutes compared to 20 minutes), but I still use Registax for processing.

Give Astrosurface a try (http://astrosurface.com/pageuk.html). I found it would create an image of at least equal quality to Registax when used with the same data. It also has a deconvolution wavelet function, like Registax.

Astrosurface is great for post processing, I have moved to it from Registax, but somehow the stacking is not as good as as!3 or at least I haven't managed to get the same final quality.
