Quick test for the start of the season (NGC 6820 )

Well I finally dragged my kit out for a quick test last night and for some reason it all worked! Trying to find a target to do a test run on I went for NGC 6820 as I had seen a few nice shots of this target on here. I must admit I didnt realise how dim this target was and i could have done with someting a bit brighter for a test run but it is what it is. I will add more data to this next time im out to play ( its clear tonight but Im far to tired for another go just yet ). I am really surprised at how little data i got at what can be forced out with a good poke from PI!

So to the boring stuff, 25 x 240 sec sub taken with my ASI2600mc. Askar 400 with the FR and a optolong extreme filter.

This was an attemp at false SHO. got lots wrong with it but I do like the look of it;

lovely and crisp...nice detail...I like the centre rendition with the crop

Great images @simmo39 👍. Have you had any halo troubles with your L Extreme as others have experienced?

Thank you. for a quick test I like it too, Think I need a lot more data and some RGB stars would help.

Thank you, I have not had any real problems with halos except on the real bright ones and then they arnt that bad for me to worry about.
