Caught with my 100mm frac tonight. Still hanging in there but it seems to have faded a little more - I reckon around magnitude 11.8 currently ?

It was discovered 1 month ago by the astronomer Koichi Itagaki.

Again tonight with my 100mm. Perhaps a touch fainter again - magnitude 11.9 / 12.0 maybe ?

Now tonight with my 102mm refractor it looks a touch brighter - my estimate this evening is magnitude 11.5. I doubt that the additional 2mm of aperture is having that much impact ! 😁

It might just be a more transparent sky tonight.

This evening with my 120mm refractor the supernova is quite hard to see. It seems to have dimmed to magnitude 12 or perhaps even a touch dimmer.
