The Moon occults Jupiter.

If I'm reading this correctly at around 7am EDT this Wednesday the 17th, the Moon will pass in front of Jupiter.

This time is for my location. 

The map shows it visible in just a small area of the UK.

It's reappearance will be after sun up for my location.

Unbelievably it's a day off for me!

I was able to watch it get close through my camera and telephoto lens, but lost it all in the sunrise before the event.

To low on the horizon to get the scope low enough in the observatory. 

Should have taken it out and set it up on the tripod.

I'm looking now for the emoji of a foot kicking my butt.
