Attempt at collimation

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I'm attempting to collimate my 150/650 Orion Newt scope with the application found here https://github.com/sajmons/CollimationCircles  and a gopro like camera, which shows on the img2

img1 shows the papers on the scope to be easier to see things.

img2 shows the image on the camera screen.

img3 shows the application put on top of the image returned by the camera on the computer.

My question is the secondary ok?

That was the alignment without the interference of the primary mirror.

Afterwards i've uncovered the primary  and the final result is this. I wonder if its ok...

The blackness square in the center is the center spot .
