April 1 moon shot

Had posted this shot yesterday in the welcome section as I am a newbie to all of this, and thought I would post again in this section.

Was using my smaller scope...a Celestron 114 EQ and a Pentax K20DSLR.

Shot was hand held (a good number were discarded).

Eyepiece was 32mm, 100 ISO, and I think was at 1/40 second at f4.5

Was taken in RAW format (14.5 megapixels) and converted to Tiff.

Did a little tweaking in Iris (wavelets) and a bit in Photoshop (contrast, gaussian blur and unsharp mask.

Thats a great picture! Its hard work getting pictures which aren't really blurry when holding the camera so you have done well!
