M45

I was woefully disappointed with my recent M45. The I remembered I shot it one before. This is the combined data.  I feel a Christmas afternoon nap coming on

FSQ 106 with .6x reducer. LRGB. Many, many…..many 60 sec subs (like 2,000)

Looking great Rodd, a nice solid version of M45 with all the good stuff.

Amazing - something to aspire to! 2000 X 60s is an incredible total integration time and the resulting image does justice to all that effort!

I just checked, some of the subs were 30 sec.  So even more!

Here's a version that is more pronounced.  I am torn between the two--I like the balance of the original, but I like the boldness of the revision.  The revision has less fine scale noise.  But.....
