Help using Registax 5

Anyone got any A, B, C, instuctions on how to use Registax 5.

If you already have an AVI file to process: the download manual for V5 does a very good job of walking you through the process.

Was there something special you wanted to achieve????

just seems to be alot of technical jargon and adjustments that can be made on the program and I haven`t got a clue what I`m doing l.o.l.

To be fair it's not something that you'll learn inside /out in just a few goes. Load an Avi and go with "auto" to start and play around with settings and watch for the differences but as Merlin suggested, the manual is very good.

If you go to the main Registax page, here, there are a few tutorials listed on the right hand side. I read the one on Lunar imaging with v.5 by Bob Pilz yesterday and thought it made for an excellent "walkthrough", even for non-lunar subjects.

Thanks guys, have downloaded the instructions, a bit long winded and still not 100% certain what i`m doing but have run my last AVI image of the moon though again and there is a big differance in focus and sharpness, will keep going, cheers
