Simeis 147 - The Spaghetti Nebula

First attempt at this one. As I was using newly installed Beta firmware in the ASIair (which worked impeccably, I have to say). I didn't want to chance doing a mosaic and potentially waste a clear near New Moon night's imaging due to a rookie error or some such.

 

Have to say, I am pleased that I was able to capture anything with this target as I had no idea what, if anything, I had captured.

 

Next step will be to add to this using the mosaic features in the v.2 ASIair software, and hopefully get the whole thing now I know I can get something.

 

This is 4.5 hours worth of a total 5 hour session. The final 30 mins was ruined by the balcony roof as I ran out of sky.

 

Integrated and combined as Ha and OIII channels in Astro Pixel Processor, then removed star layer and processed in Photoshop before remerging stars.
