Mars from this morning with excellent seeing. Some nice features are coming. If I am correct this is Mare Sirenum and a nice cloud in the polar cap. 8" Dob, manual, asi462mc, 2.5x TV powermate. 1.5x drizzle.

Thanks Neil. Yes the 19th seems to have been the best weather for me this year for planetary, even the Jupiter I posted yesterday was my best so far. Mars is getting bigger and better to get details, I am quite pleased on the several features captured.

Thanks. I am still learning but I am finding that if the seeing is good, then it is easier to pull these details. Worth giving it a try.
