NGC 7635 and Friends

Taken last night 6-8-22 here in North Cornwall. 

Always wanted to image this target and got my chance. Imaged with my 

Skywatcher 72ed 

AzGti in eq mode. 

Asiair pro

Zwo asi294mc pro (imaging camera) 120 gain - 10°

Zwo asi 120mcs (guidecamera) 

Astronomik L3 filter 

44x180sec subs

30 dark

30 flats and dark flats 

Stacked in Dss. Processed with graxpert for gradients, starnett ++2 for removing stars and processed stars and starless images in photoshop cs4 before merging together. 

Think it needs more data though and someone who can process better. 

Included the cropped version too but I quite like the uncropped version with M52, NGC 7538 and the lobster claw trying to get in shot. So much going on around this region.

Yep, thought I'd give it a go, it's a quirky one and not a lot of people doing it atm. Think I'll might try to get some more data on it tonight before I move onto another target.

I managed to get another session on this target earlier this month but processing the combined data was a complete pain and just could do it justice but I've finally managed to get as good as it will be. 

So here's 64 x 180secs now. 

Processed in Dss, siril, starnett ++2 and photoshop using a new technique. 

I still like the Widefield shot more compared to the cropped version. 

Time to move onto another target when the skies allow.
