M92 LRGB - 20/03/09

Not a great night conditions wise but you've got to get what you can haven't you? Spent two hours on NGC 2903 then had to do a meridian flip which sent the GOTO AWOL and after a bit of trial and error, M92 managed to fight it's way though the murk onto the camera chip. FWIW, the NGC data is pants so that'll he filed under the heading 'uses unknown' :). Still, I'm pretty happy with this and it was just nice to get out there and spend some quality time under the stars more than once a week, albeit with an Orange sky.

So, M92: Total exposure time 1hr. 15 mins per channel (5 x 3 mins) no binning. Taken with an Atik 16HR through a WO ZS110 with Baader RGB, IR cut and Hutech IDAS filters. Guided with an WO ZS66, QHY5 and PHD all atop an EQ6 pro. Stacked in DSS and processed in ye olde photoshoppe.
