Manged to get set up and capture a few frames with the new camera and filter. A starless image of the Pelican using the 61 EDPH II and reducer, 4.5nm Antlia Ha and the 533 mono. 7 x 300 seconds ( 100 gain, -15c )  using a master dark in sharpcap and no flats.

And the original stack with just a histogram stretch in Siril

I did manage to capture a few frames of SII and OII the other morning while testing,  It  was getting light when captured, but thought I would post here for anyone who is interested. These are single 5 minute frames with the Antlia 4.5nm and a single auto stretch in Siril, noting else. Stars may look a little off towards the edges as I need to correct spacing on the reducer :)

Ha

For single subs, the low signal areas look very clean. Mine come today, can't wait to try it!

And the last one, this is 12 x 180 seconds of Ha of the Cygnus wall, foiled by cloud again. de-starred in Starnet++ and some processing in Gimp. Once the clouds decide to sod off I might actually acquire some useful OIII and SII data :(

Nice first light images, have you taken any more since then.  have you any previous Oiii filters to compare the new 4.5nm too, I currently have Baader 8.5nm Oiii and try to decide which narrower filter to upgrade too.

Cheers

Hi Lee,

Unfortunately this is my first narrowband set, so cannot help with any comparison. I have only managed 1 night out since then, hoping to get out next week if weather permits, week off work :)  Please see link below, I managed to get some data on the crescent that night.

Steve.
