Having bought my preloved, second hand, used Celestron 100 ed-r…….in black, first outing was solar viewing which was enjoyable. Now tonight, under misty skies it was the turn for the moon. Not disappointed at all, considering the moisture all around, using first the Televue 32mm, then 20mm, next the 15mm and back to the 20mm which gave me the best views. The terminator was as good as with the Astro-tech 90mm triplet I once had, must stop kicking myself for selling that scope, it’s beginning to hurt!

So, will I keep this one? You bet, it’s as good as I can afford with views that are as good as the Televue 102 I also once had!, to my eyes anyway.

Thing is, I also have the 80 mm version, do I keep that as well? Hmmm.
