Stitching software

Hi, 

I have two AVI videos of the Sun - one containing the top part of the disc and one containing the bottom part. What's the best software to use to combine them together to make one video of the full disc that I can then load into Autostakkert? The guide I have says Microsoft ICE but that doesn't appear to be available anymore.

I do mine in AS2 crop the stack lines in Photoshop then stitch in ICE.

 

Works for me if ther is not a long time between them and there is plenty of overlap.

Hi and welcome to SGL.

Usual procedure when making mosaics is to stack each part and then join them together.

There are several other programs that do it as well - iMerge for example and ImageJ also has stitching plugins.
