The Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Venus!  Hopefully, you were able to see it from your latitude.  If not, here it is, taken at prime focus through my 127mm Mak-Cass. They will be nearly as close Sunday morning (May 1).  In the image, you can see the some of the moons of Jupiter (Ganymede, Io and Callisto) and the waxing gibbous phase of Venus:

Cheers!

Great image!. Which camera did you use and what exposure?

Thanks! I used my Nikon D3200 attached to my 127mm Mak-Cass at ISO6400 and 1/10 sec exposure.
