V* WY Cep EB/KE light curve

Recommended Posts

Here is my light curve of WY Cep from last night. It was a lovely clear night and I started exposures at around 5:45pm. Made up of just over seven hours of continuous data (1,526 subs of 15s each in succession without any gaps other than download time). I would have left it until the morning but I could see clouds in the distance.

The range is quoted as mag 10.8-11.7 p (aavso) and 10.47-11.3 (ASTAP's H18 database ). There is one nice curve in the aavso database which is 10.46 to 11.18v. I have a range of mag 10.34 to 11.16 T-G. @JeremyS do you have access to any BAA magnitude range data for T-G by any chance to compare?

Here is the same data plotted by phase using a bin size of 30.

Below are the campion stars used as magnitude references.

A nice target positioned well at the moment. I must confess the rise/fall time was much slower than had I expected, so much so I did not reached maxima - maybe I should left it going and risked the clouds.
