A bit if fantasy league astronomy.

It seems to me that these mounts have all the complexity in the drive and controller which are practically off the shelf components once you know where to source them. 

What would you think of Rowan Astronomy looking into adding a harmonic drive mount to their line up?

Think they would have to add a gem to the line-up first....

Far as I know they produce a Az100 which is a Az mount

And a few componants for the eq6

So if it looked like everyone was going to jump ship to the harmonic drive system the market would need to be there first
