assouptro
Hi Rodd Well done for getting the OAG up and running! Great images! The stars look tight! OAG’s take a bit of taming and guide stars are different than using a smaller guide scope, I find the graphs in phd look disappointing sometimes but the results speak for themselves! Just out of curiosity, what mount are you using? .4 sounds like good guiding to me! Ps I was shooting space tadpoles too last night! 😊 Cheers Bryan Edited September 20, 2021 by assouptro Extra info

But the errors varied from correction to correction, I remember seeing a .6, .5, even a 1, but also a .08 and .02. I’m imaging at .4 so not much room for wiggling. I dont really know much about guiding. I am sure I could fiddle and tinker to improve. I might try Nina and phd tonight. Dustin at tak America set it up so it’s all automated from framing, focus, acquisition, meridian flip, everything. Well see how it works.
