Colour differences between monitors

See the image, my monitor seems to show grey images as brown, the right hand side is my laptop where to me the colour looks more grey. I've played about with the windows settings but cannot get it right. Anybody know anything I can try?

I started a link along the same lines as this and ended up buying one of THESE off Ebay, I paid around £25 so worth looking about but they work a treat.
