APT and Non Ascom Camera

Hi.

Can anyone tell me how to image in APT with a non Ascom Starlight xpress ccd camera.I just cant seem to connect.

If i open the Select Camera Type Box and look under the ccd/ascom drop down box,my camera is not there.

As i understand you can image with a non ascom connection,so any advise please.

Is there a reason you don't want to use the Starlight Express ASCOM driver?

Did you install the latest ASCOM platform first?

It has got Ascom on the Pc,but i will update and try again.

Hi.

The camera works with its own software,it also works in Astro-Art and Nebulosity.

Its just i like APT.

Yeah me too, cracking software..

Sounds odd. .. what version are you using?
