Skywatcher EQ5 mount

Hi guys,

is there anyway to recognize a skywatcher eq5 mount? I have recently bought one at a local store, but there is no branding on it. It looks fairly identical to images and videos of it. Except for the green highlights are black on my model.

Thanks in advance!

Jay

The older EQ5's didn't have the green setting circles on them, mine doesn't, they were silver/bare metal. If it's the Go-To version then the controller has "Synscan EQ5" written on it but the mount itself doesn't.

If you attach a photo of the one you have then we'll be able to ID it for you. ;)

Cornelius beat me too it.

The same EQ5 I have, only mine has the Go-To motors and controller attached.

A good solid mount which can be converted to Go-To if you wanted, look like new condition too.

I have a Meade LX70, which is also a Synta EQ-5.  I received it recently, as new discontinued-stock...

I'm in the process of "hyper tuning" it.  It's a very good mount-head.  Enjoy.
