JUNE 12TH - CRESCENT MOON 5.4% 2.2 DAYS

I had a nice view of the crescent moon last evening, using my 10x50 binoculars and my SW 72ED.  Particularly nice to see it having observed it passing across the sun a couple of days earlier during the eclipse.

The single frames below were taken with the 72ED and Olyympue E-M5 Mk11 between 10.19pm and 10.22 pm.

Brilliant. 👍 I was standing by last night with a newly acquired used 80-200mm dslr lens. Unfortunately clouds arrived in the west around 10pm. 🙄

More great shots Paul, I managed to catch it last night too, it looked lovely in the scope once it got a bit darker.

Many thanks, I only decided to take some pics at the last minute, so it was a mad rush to get the kit together, glad I did though.

Many thanks Stu.  I will go out any night the weather cooperates this week, but I've just had two warnings about thunder storms approaching this week 😱.
