Problems cooling the camera

Hi everyone. I’m having problems cooling my asi533mc pro camera in Astro photography tool (APT) the temperature simply will not budge from whatever it’s original temp is. I’m using the cooling aid. What should the settings read? When I press “start” to cool the camera to -10° for example the digital readout never changes. Has anyone got any layman’s terms guidance. Much appreciate your time

I used the defaults with APT. But if you set to -10 set point with a step of 3 degrees it should work OK. The pause can be set to 10 seconds and the timeout to a couple of minutes.

The manual for APT is quite good and can be downloaded online.

Was the power supply up to it? I think the 533 needs a nominal 12V/3A

It’s a 12v 10A output

Does the camera cool ok with other software? Is it just APT being a problem?

That was going to be my question! In NINA, cooling is a 1 button operation, so I dare say if it doesn't work with NINA, you've got a duff camera
