I agree with Stu that the sun is very dynamic in Ha. To answer Jim as best I can I think you would be hard pressed to see actual movement but when I’ve stitched consecutive files together as a short video it’s surprising how things change. If you made a quick sketch of a prom at the eyepiece and looked again in say 5 to 10 minutes you would see movement. Hope that helps. Trevor

Thanks Trevor; I'd always wondered.  I guess it's easy to forget the scale of those features so any "real time" motion as such would not register.  I've only ever looked at  white light solar image through the eyepiece so I don't get to see the fantastic detail you captured. I need to start saving for an Ha setup :)
