Out from 9.10 to 10.30 pm, using the Tecnosky 102ED F7.  Nice details along the terminator through the S Highlands, including the Hipparchus and Albateginus area. Rima Hyginus and Ariadeus were very favourably placed and were fabulous using the binoviewer and Orthos in moments of better seeing.  The area around the Caucasus Mtns also showed impressive detail

Single frame and crop below taken with the Olyympue E-M5 Mk11.  Much better visually of course 🙂.

Yep, nice one @paulastro!

Out of interest, do you know what this feature is called? It always fascinates me but doesn’t seem to have a name?

I call it 'the horseshoe' :) It appears to be several small depressions filled with darker mare material but it has not been named on any of my maps.

Hi Stu.

The only named feature within your area appears to be Schneckenberg or 'Snail Mtn.  Two images below from the Cambridge Photographic Moon Atlas.

The map below is from The Times Atlas Of The Moon, from 1969.
