iOptron SkyGuider Pro - high latitude

Hello,

My iOptron SkyGuider Pro has just arrived today and I've reached my first hurdle.

I live near Wigan and my latitude is 53ºN.

It's not possible for me to go any further than 44º.

Could you advise what I should do for my latitude?

You should remove the mount head, turn it around and slide it back on to the saddle. Then you can use the scale on the other side (the one that goes to 60) to set it to the right latitude (page 10 of the online  manual has a couple of pictures if what I have written doesn't make sense!).

Good to know. Slightly off topic, but is there a reason why I'm seeing black bodied versions of this tracker as well as the red version? Just a design choice?
