Wed 5th April

Temp: 2%

Humidty: 78%

Wind: Slight breeze

Cloud: High & wispy, clearing later

Scope: f/5 Newtonian

EP: 32mm, 20mm, 10mm

Seeing: 6/10

Transparancy: 5/10

Moon: Waxing Crescent 45%

At over a magnitude feinter than M3, this was a little tricky to find, but I got there quite quickly - about 10:30 (after 10pm restart - cloud break!).

The difference in mag was quite apparant, but using averted vision helped to bring out the outer edges quite well. Direct vision on the core really did show the central cluster, but the poor transparency didn't help to bring out any details.

I would estimate it as smaller the M3 in size, and I would say it took just less than 1/4 of the 10mm FOV, maybe 8 - 10 arcminutes.
