First light for my ASI183MM-Pro

Got everything up and running. First tried the Flaming Star Nebula, but it was too close to the moon, so switched to the California Nebula.

Really happy with my ASI 183MM. Super bit of kit.

Calling it a day. Got 2.5 hours of data on the California Nebula, now creating flats and dark flats, and will leave APP to stack the lot

So tempted by the colour version of this camera, cant decide between the ZWO and the ALTAIR version which is considerably cheaper, thoughts between them ? would be used on a WO ZS61 with guiding.

I have no experience with Altair cameras, but I did notice some used fan cooling, rather than thermo-electric cooling (TEC). TEC is much better than fan cooling. I have an uncooled ZWO ASI183MC, which is very nice indeed, so I trust the pro version will be better still

What about the qhy version? It's cheaper than both the Altair and zwo.
