Aladin co-ordinates System

Does anyone know how to get Aladin to use a co-ordinate system other than J2000? I'm at the start of a looooong project where I am tracking Barnards Star and 61 Cygni over the course of a few years. I've been using Aladin to plot start positions and I'd like to be able to load in current co ordinates and save a copy so I can compare year by year against my measured co-ordinates. As far as I can see, I can only load in J2000, so when I overlay objects in the database, Barnards Star is shown at over 3.4 arcminutes away from its current position in my photo.

Is there a way to use current co-ordinates, or a way to update?

Two ways to do this ....

(1) Click on the "Frame" icon at top right of screen and select the method that you want ... however I am not 100% sure if this makes a permanent change every time you open up the prog.

(2) Open up the "Edit" section at top left of screen and then click on "User Preferences" ... I think makes the changes permanent until you re-set

Thanks, I'll give this a go when I next load it up!
