Stellarium settings help!

Recommended Posts

Hello, wife got me a bresser messier mcx 102 telescope,

Got stellarium installed, but trying to get settings right,

Com port 3 for serial (confirmed on hardware monitor)

But what telescope control type? I have tried them all and makes no difference, they connect and noatter what I do the telescope does not react. Googled the life out of it, I can see how to connect other mounts.... So I know what steps... Just don't know what settings I should use!

The manual suggests that this cannot be done at this time.

Hi Mike,

For what I understand an ASCOM driver is available for that scope.

https://www.bresser.de/en/Astronomy/BRESSER-Computer-Cable-for-Remote-Control-of-MCX-Goto-Telescopes-and-EXOS-II-EQ-Goto-Mounts.html

Stellarium should be able to control any ASCOM scope.
