Hyperion zoom iv 2"

I owm a baader zoom mark iv. So far i have been using it with the standard  1,25" barrel. It also comes with an addional 2" barrel(photo). My sw startravel 120 can do 2" .  Would it perform well in my scope, would i notice the diference?

If you mean using the same lens in the same scope but using the 2" size fitting instead of the 1.25" size I think the answer is it makes no difference unless it was vignetting before (unlikely).

I have the same Baader zoom. It is essentially a 1.25" eyepiece, but with the additional thread to fit a 2" sleeve. The 2" sleeve option is purely there to use the zoom with a 2" focuser, but does not give any optical improvement that I have noticed.

As has been said, using the 2 inch barrel makes no optical difference to the eyepiece but does enable 2 inch filters to be used and a 2 inch fitting might be considered more secure for a largish eyepiece.
