Hi,

Am looking for two solid quality Losmandy clamps for a dual side by side set up...these look very good, does anybody have one so can answer me a few questions.....?

Ah....superb...

first of all the two M8 holes each side of the CW shaft...are they 35mm centres...? I know there are four holes around it, but I need it to connect to a dovetail bar with 35mm connection holes, so it’s the ones front and back I am concerned about....not the ones at the side....

Also how does the clamp mechanism work, as it’s hard to see on the picture, is the block that clamps against the dovetail shaped at an angle to grip it..?

also is it spring loaded...?

Yes the holes are 35mm apart.

The clamping blocks have an angle and are spring loaded.
