Pryce
So, as I have just gotten my brand new EQ6-R Pro and I'm starting to test a few things out, I'm obviously running into issues here and there. The last one is with EQMOD, no surprise there. I have V200q of EQMOD EQDIR cable connected directly to the computer I'm using the EQASCOM toolbox I did check which comport(COM3) is used and set it to COM3 under the driver setup in toolbox I set the baud to 115200 as well as the bits pr second under port settings. I got it to work, for a moment. But suddenly(with no changes on my end) i started getting the "Connect Error: Timeout" message and even after several system resets I can't get it to work. Suggestions? Edit: I just set the Baud to 9600 in the eqascom setup and the bits per second to 921600 in port settings and that... worked? Second edit: Well apperantly everything works now. Benchtest complete. Now I just have to make it work outside as well 😅 Edited November 27, 2020 by Pryce
Merlin66
The higher baud rate seems to be used when the new USB port on the mount is used (Not sure about your EQ6-R), otherwise it's the 9600 .
