Mars 18th November 2020 with dust

Despite strong gusts of wind and jetstream overhead, the attached image clearly shows the spreading dust storm on Mars. The dust is spilling over from the Solis Lacus region on the bright limb at 10 o'clock.

I look forward to watching this storm develop and the active region rotates into view.

Very nice. I tried myself that night but gave up, obsy was battered by the wind which was a shame as Mars looked quite good in the eyepiece. I really hate the wind, can be a real pain this time of year.
