First proper image

Heres my first proper image of M31

40 x 30sec Lights

50 x Bias 

20 x Darks 

No flats 

Canon 400d - 300mm FL - star adventurer

I definitely overdid the processing once or twice, I have settled on this for now considering its only twenty minutes of data. 

I would really appreciate feedback on how I could improve it

You could use adobe photoshop or lightroom to increase brightness of M31

I put this through gimp, I dont think I can give it much more without over processing it. Any tips?

Hi. If you can flats and dark flats are worth doing. I use a tablet as a light box.

Much can be done in GIMP and there are useful tools in SIRIL which could help you.
