Here is my attempt at processing the image. I've not processed Andromeda before as the focal length of my scope is too high to fit it all in, so thank you for the opportunity.

I've been processing astro images for the last 2-3 months so I'm still learning. Would love to her what you think.

I processed this with Photoshop, Topaz De Noise, GradientXTerminator and Astronomy Tools Action Set.

This was my process:

1. Initial Level adjust to remove some of space on the left side of the histogram

2. Curve Stretch to bring out data

3. Curve Stretch to bring out more data

4. Use Threshold to find true black and white points

5. Colour balance with levels

7. Astronomy Tools Action Set = Local Contrast

8. Astronomy Tools Action Set = Enhance DSO, Reduce Stars

9. Reduced Stars in Red Channel only

10. GradientXTerminator

11. Astronomy Tools Action Set = Light pollution removal

12. Curve Stretch

13. Topaz Labs DeNoise with remove colour noise turned on

14. Astronomy Tools Action Set = Less crunchy more fuzzy

15. Selective masks to boost some colours

16. Reduced Stars in Red Channel only

17. Astronomy Tools Action Set = Local Contrast

18. Astronomy Tools Action Set = Deep Space Noise Removal

Thanks

Yeah I like that, nicely processed. I'm giving it another go over the weekend to try and tame the colours a bit. I've been using the Astro tools myself when editing Nebulas and found them really good, worth the money. Thanks for having ago, your doing very well in the time you've been doing it, it's certainly an art form in itself 👍
