After me quick go at M16 I thought I would try M 27 as it wouldnt hide behind the house for quite a while and I should be able to get somthing like a finished pic. Here is 2 versions one in HOO and the other in SHO. Not sure which I like best.

Taken with my SW 72ed using my ASI 1600mm. All cropped heavily due to poor alignment by me.

Hints and tips welcome.

Lovely images, getting the outer fans showing is a treat.

The HOO is a generally more pleasing combo but compared to the SHO the centre looks a little bright and has blown out a little detail.

The First SHO is a bit green on the background but the centre of the nebula shows a lot of detail.

The second SHO has much better background but I really liked the green in the nebula of the other pic.

As for the wide field, it's superb.

Thank you, I have just changed the HOO image as i uploaded the wrong one. I think Im leaning towards the HOO just for the colour.
