Good evening all,

I want to get an equatorial mount, and only have about £600 to spend as a maximum.

Been looking at EQ5 pro goto or EQM35 Pro goto.

I want to start into DSO imaging and have a startravel 120 for starters.

What do you think would be better for me (or any other suggestions).

Wishing for clear sky (eventually).

I'd put my money towards a second hand heq5 or you might get lucky and manage to find an neq6

+1 for a used HEQ5 or used iOptron CEM25p.

Push the max to £900 and you’ll probably get a second hand AZEQ6. Failing that an HEQ5 or a Paramount.

A solid, stable mount is key to imaging DSOs.
