rwc23q
Good evening all, I want to get an equatorial mount, and only have about £600 to spend as a maximum. Been looking at EQ5 pro goto or EQM35 Pro goto. I want to start into DSO imaging and have a startravel 120 for starters. What do you think would be better for me (or any other suggestions). Wishing for clear sky (eventually). Rob Edited August 19, 2020 by rwc23q
geordie85
I'd put my money towards a second hand heq5 or you might get lucky and manage to find an neq6
Bukko
+1 for a used HEQ5 or used iOptron CEM25p. Good luck.
jambouk
Push the max to £900 and you’ll probably get a second hand AZEQ6. Failing that an HEQ5 or a Paramount. A solid, stable mount is key to imaging DSOs.
