It was a tad warm yesterday and even an early start imaging the Sun didn’t provide good seeing conditions.

Here is a selection of shots taken;

  1. Full disc and prominence ring in false colour.
  2. Full disc greyscale.
  3. Sun spot AR2770.
  4. I believe this is AR2768 moving slowly out of view.

Equipment used;

  • Lunt LS60THA/B1200CPT.
  • ZWO ASI174mm
  • SkyWatcher EQ6-R Pro.
  • Tele Vue 5x Powermate for images 3 and 4.
  • SharpCap Pro used for image acquisition and capture of flats and darks for calibration.
  • Autostakkert 2 used to stack video files. Best 200 of 1,000 frames used for images 1 and 2. Best 25% of 500 frames used for images 3 and 4.
  • Stacked images processed using imPPG and PixInsight.

Thanks for checking in.
