Paz Posted July 26, 2020 Share Posted July 26, 2020 I saw this halo around the sun earlier. Having seen one a few weeks ago it is as if once you've seen one you notice them all of a sudden. Most people do not look up and most people have no idea about any phenomena at all. When I joined my astro society as a teen back in the 70s, there were people there who specialised in photographing all sorts of phenomena, such as the green flash. So I was introduced to it at an early age.
