Close to the Crescent Nebula (NGC6888) is a hidden secret - very difficult to spot....

With a bit of cheating with a star removal tool, all is revealed....

To the right is the Soap Bubble nebula, a planetary nebula discovered a number of years ago by an amateur astronomer (great spot !!).  This is a cropped view of two night's worth of data, using a Tak FSQ106 with a 0.73 x reducer.  3 hours of Ha and 3 hours of Oiii data using an ASI1600mm.

Have fun

Best wishes
