Does any one have experience of either/both of:

Pegasus Ultimate PowerBox V2 £499

• 4 x 12V switched and monitored 2.5mm output
• 3 x PWM for dew heater/EL panel
• 4 x USB 3.1
• 2 x USB 2
• stepper motor control
• auto dew control
• 1 x variable output (3-12V)
• 1 x always on 12V

HitecAstro Mount Hup Pro V4 £479

• 4 x 12V switched and monitored 2.1mm output
• 3 x PWN for dew heater/EL panel
• 6 x USB 2.0
• stepper & DC motor control
• adjustable dew control

I must say that on average I'd be tempted more by the slightly more expensive Pegasus - particularly the auto dew control.

Does anyone think that the HitecAstro has significant advantages?

Hello,

I have the Pegasus UPB V2 and it’s just superb, I have used the hitecastro offerings and TBH they are not a patch on the Pegasus products, especially the software, it’s very clunky...

I also use the Pegasus motor focuser too, and I had the V1 UPB before this one...all excellent...as is customer support 👍😀

I have the Pegasus V2, runs perfectly through EKOS. Haven't needed to use their own software.

I do actually have the PPB on one rig with a focus cube, but looking for additional tooling as part of the Dalèkъ  regeneration planning.
