4x Tele Vue Powermate performance

Hi,

 

I have a Celestron 9.25" Standard SCT and ZWO ASI290MC OSC. 

 

I intend to do planetary imaging with Tele Vue 4x Powermate.  Will it work well for 4x magnification?  Especially I am looking to capture close views of Moon craters,  Rings of Saturn and Moons of Jupiter.

Should work fine but your guiding has to be very good.

You can even stack up power mates.

Guiding?  I thought we dont need guiding generally for planetary imaging.

You might also find that a flip mirror will help as your FOV will be small. I couldn't manage without my flip mirror on my C9.25.
