my 2nd group of lunar images

Hi all

spent a couple of very cold but enjoyable hours in sub zero temps yesterday evening in the garden with the explorer p200 and my spc 900n attached took these images of the moon.

First 3 of a batch of 92 single frame images these were taken with a neodymium filter attached to the web cam which i set to 30sec exposures some of the later shots are taken with x3 barlow attached will post these a little later but here are my first 3 to be getting on with regars Pete

These are good pics pete, try imaging the moon without the neodymium filter just with a IR Filter on the webcam & in b/w as the focus can be acheived much better, just some thoughts

Thanks for the great advice Deneb will have to buy an ir cut fillter as i dont own one thats why i used the neodymium as it is supposed to have inbuilt Ir cut and i just though that was better than nothing at all

I've got a neodymium filter but found it less effective when doing lunar work
