Problem with venus in daytime.

I am using my Celestron Nexstar 127 SLT and I am trying to align it to Venus but to no avail... I did the solar system align method with the sun and leveled my scopes but still nothing. tried to move my telescope around to find it in the FOV but no...

As i type its currently just under 50 degrees high, just over 30 degrees from the Sun. Make a fist and use your oustretched arm to judge where in the sky Venus currently is.

I use this method every time i am looking for Venus during daylight. Venus is going to get very close to the Sun so i would recommend this method for much longer.
