Trouble focusing Zenithstar 61 with 1.25 eyepiece

I recently bought a ZENITHSTAR 61 APO and found that my prior 1.25 Eyepieces will not work. Seems the like focal point is at a point beyond the max of the focuser. I can hold the eye piece out past it a bit and see it start to come into focus. Any recommendations?

Either an extension tube or switch to a 2" diagonal.

You will need to use a diagonal I think and quite possibly a 2 inch one as Louis suggests above.

This CN thread dicuses it. and mentions you have to use a 2” diagonal or a 1.25” diagonal with an extension.

Fantastic! I know it sounds like a simple question but through me of after using my old Bresser. This is a much nicer scope and want to use it for photography eventually like others might do. Very thanks for the quick reply.
