Struggling with LRGB from Bromley and no NB targets around.

This is the camera where I had those awful artifacts a couple of nights ago and eventually we decided it was ice formation and needed the dessicant changing and the camera drying out.

Background gradients and LP forced me to combine the data with an old image done in 2011 (last time I imaged this target) in darker locations, albeit with a DSLR.

Markarian chain
Combined data from 2011 and 2020
2011 28 x 5mins Modified canon 450D Blacklands and Herstmonceux
2020 Atik460EX, LRGB WOZS71
Lum 14 x 600 RGB 5 x 150secs binned (each)
Total imaging time 5h 15mins

Hi Carole!
Hope you’re well!
Galaxy’s galore!!
isn’t it typical that when you have the time and the skies allow, equipment issues rear their ugly head!!
I hope you have the problem sorted now.

It’s fun going back to old data and trying to combine it with new, maybe a tad pink but that will be the older modded slr data I’m guessing?
anyway, thanks for sharing

stay well

I would say a bit purple rather than pink, but the colours are balanced, so not sure how that happened.  Tried to adjust the colours, but looks a bit boring, so decided to leave them pretty purple.
